O projeto "verdejando" é uma iniciativa da rede Globo em parceria com a secretaria do verde e do meio ambiente da prefeitura de São Paulo e busca trazer ao meio urbano possibilidades de desenvolvimento arbóreo com espécies da Mata Atlântica.
O objetivo foi desenhar estas espécies e diferenciá-las através de suas particularidades e características naturais. Algumas, tive a possibilidade de ver e desenhar, como o Ipê Amarelo, por exemplo, outras tive como referência fotográfica e depois desenhei.
A organização do "Verdejando" me procurou pois o projeto havia crescido e agora teriam a possibilidade de ter um programa na grade horária. Para anunciar a vinda deste novo projeto a equipe de comunicação pensou então em vincular os desenhos nas mídias sociais para contextualizar o tema. Fiquei imensamente feliz com o propósito e com a idéia e começamos a pensar juntos nesta comunicação. Chegamos então a conclusão das árvores e seus nomes mais conhecidos. Foi interessante desenvolver o tema e observar a diferenciação das espécies através de suas estruturas.
Como foi o processo dos desenhos?
Fico realmente impressionada como a perfeição da natureza tem a qualidade de nos tocar sensivelmente através de suas formas diversas.
O desenvolvimento do observador que existe em nós é o princípio para desenhar bem um tema. Sem a observação fica complicado estabelecer vínculos de imagem e referências. Quando observo uma árvore, vejo através do desenvolvimento estrutural aspectos do tempo: Os galhos da parte de baixo são os mais antigos, eles caem um pouco e suas folhas são mais opacas, percebemos que o tronco principal se transforma nos ramos das laterais e nitidamente eles ficam mais fininhos estruturando as folhagens novas que são um pouco menores. Tudo isso acontece com uma mudança de cor e tonalidade de verdes e de cores diversas, a vida ali se transforma com o tempo e assim as cores acompanham essa transformação. Observe uma árvore e suas texturas. É encantadora a história que ela vai te contar!
